Thank you so much for your patience with me as I recover from the end of Twice-Claimed! :) It's been weird only having two chapters going up every week, and I appreciate you guys being so kind about my needing a breather! My next project is BloodWard, and now that I've hit enough episodes ready to go - I'll be sending it out here first! The Starlit Society will receive the first episode on Thursday, 10/15/26. (And, if you're not a member? You have plenty of time to join and get the earliest access to all my work! Paid memberships help keep me writing faster! :) )

So, what's Blood Ward about?

For three years, Kellick of Silvercrest was her bonded mate—until he married another woman and had her exiled to the Deadlands to die. But Annis is wolfless, not powerless. She survives, claiming a forbidden power in the wilderness and forming an unlikely alliance with the monsters that dwell there. And she will not be erased.

It's a separate universe from the Claimed stories - and I hope you guys will enjoy it. It's a little bit darker story than Half-Claimed, and Annis is a very different kind of person than Katina and Sasha!

Here's the release schedule:

• Thursday, October 15: Starlit Society members get the first chapter!
• Thursday, October 29: Blood Ward begins posting on Lantern.
• Sunday, November 1: Blood Ward arrives on Inkitt.

Chapters will release one at a time (unless I go on a real writing spree and the buffer gets big, or I decide to prevent torches-and-pitchforks on cliffhangers) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from there out. Unburning will continue to update on Monday and Friday.

I'm so excited to finally share Annis's story with you. Thank you for being patient while I got enough chapters ready to keep the updates coming! I've also had some people mention that they miss having comments, and I'm working on a solution for that as well. (Possibilities are a web-based comment thread for each episode, or possibly a Discord server, but I'm really not sure what will be the easiest way to do things. If you've got input? I'd love to hear it!)
